Vision for the Band of Brothers

To commit each of ourselves for one year to go on a journey with a group of men that are committed to being challenged to grow, while doing life together as a Band of Brothers.

Our Desire

Our desire is to become Men of God. We want to live and relate to others with the Courage of the Father, the Humility of the Son who was willing to die for us, and the Unity of the Spirit who dwells in all believers and unites us.

Leadership Lessons We Explore Together

Join Us for a 12-month Commitment to Band Together

In accordance with God's desire to have men band together with other men, our commitment is to move in that direction over the next 12 months. Here's how:

  1. Meet once per month from 6:00am – 7:30am at a central location in Mesa. This will allow us to get to work by 8:00am.
  2. Have coffee and bagels available. We'll share in the cost of this.
  3. The leader will share a 20 minute biblical lesson that ties into his struggles / victories over the previous 30 days. Our core tenets are authenticity, vulnerability, and "being real".
  4. "Check in" with each other. We will simply go around the room and ask each person to share what's been happening with them over the past 30 days. There will be struggles and victories shared.
  5. End in prayer.

We will begin to recognize the value of Ecclesiastes 4:12

A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken."

When we are stuggling and tempted, it's easy to "Put God in the box." But a brother who knows your weaknesses will be there to protect you.

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed and broken. We are perplexed, but we don't give up and quit. We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going." (2 Cor. 4:8)

Our desire is that at the end of 12 months you have banded together with some of these to be there for you so we move together from distractions and good intentions — to meaning and purpose in each of our lives.

It's up to you, make the commitment and watch God begin to transform you into the man He wants you to be through your Band of Brothers. Doing Life Together – Welcome to the Battle!
